True Religion Apparel Inc announced the lease signing for its newest branded store on the Upper East Side of New York City. Featuring the entire collection of True Religion apparel including the expanding line of denim, sportswear, and a full range of licensed product, the 1,400 square-foot store is scheduled to open in Spring 2008.

Located on Third Avenue between 65th and 66th streets, the True Religion branded store will be situated within walking distance of Bloomingdale's and other notable retailers including Sephora, Zara, Diesel, and Scoop.

Spanning from Central Park to the East River, and in between 59th and 105th streets, the Upper East Side is well-known for being a worldwide destination for locals and visitors alike by providing a myriad of shopping, dining and entertainment experiences. Some feature destinations include Fifth and Madison avenues and the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Museum Mile.

"We are thrilled to include Manhattan's Upper East Side in our line-up of high-performing, premier shopping destinations," said Jeffrey Lubell, chairman and chief executive officer. "We believe the neighborhood's reputation as an outstanding retail environment with an affluent customer base creates the ideal conditions to successfully grow the True Religion brand."

"This lease brings our 2008 total for True Religion branded stores to 22," said Michael Buckley, president. "With the level of interest for our branded stores thus far, we areon track with our retail expansion plans which are expected to significantly contribute to growth in 2008 and beyond."
