Family Dollar and The NPD Group Inc have announced a new three-year information sharing agreement. As one of NPD's participating retail partners, Family Dollar will provide its sales information in return for access to NPD's information services for apparel, housewares and small domestic appliances.
“Armed with a better understanding of what's happening across the marketplace we will be able to better anticipate customer wants and needs in order to continue to be a more compelling place to shop, work and invest.” said Robert George, Family Dollar executive vice president and chief merchandising officer.
