This season is all about pizzazz. Shimmer and shine are key trends with metallics, sequins, satin and rhinestones found in both day and nighttime apparel. And the easiest way to stand out during the holidays is with just the right accessories.

This season, look for flats, pumps and tall boots with plenty of stretch, bows, buckles and shine. Of course no outfit is complete without the shimmer and shine of jewelry. Bold reds, silver and gold are popular in heart and tear drop shapes. Big rings, bangles, hoops and charms put the finishing touch on the perfect holiday look.

Rhodes also states that flirty, embellished dresses or tops that are shiny and bare with a hint of beading look great for a holiday party or a night on the town. Any of these tops in shiny solids or intriguing patterns look great paired with a full pant or a pencil skirt.
