Liverpool, has strongly promoted its brand nation wide and within a short span of time has succeeded, by establishing 125 franchise outlets. The company now aims high to enter Guinness Book of World Records by coming up with 150 retail outlets in 16 states simultaneously.
Mr Jagdeesh K, Vice President, Liverpool Retail India Ltd, informed Fibre2fashion, that the company has already started working on the lifestyle stores project and site for Ahmedabad 30,000 square feet outlet has already under construction.
The multi-brand stores will occupy 20,000 to 50,000 square feet area, to offer its valuable customers a larger than life experience. By 2009, Liverpool plans to open 1,000 stores across country.
The retail giant also aims to target the flourishing kids clothing sector. A new manufacturing unit is being set up at Ahmedabad with a production capacity of around 10,000 pieces per day. The fashion line for kids, Zebra will be launched in the market by July this year.
Liverpool, is investing nearly Rs200 crore, for its biggest project ever, which includes setting up of garment manufacturing unit, huge lifestyle stores, warehouse facilities and franchise stores.
