As the Beijing Olympics are round the corner, each and every company related to sports is coming up with innovative products to become the official suppliers for sportswear.

Three major Japanese sportswear makers introduced new their versions of high-tech swimsuits to compete with Speedo, a renowned sportswear brand, has launched record-setting LZR Racer suit, which has become very popular among international swimmers.

Mizuno, Asics and Descente Ltd are the enterprises that presented their swimsuits in front of Japan Swimming Federation (JSF) on May 30. The Federation wants their national team swimmers to wear the domestic sports gear for contractual reasons.

The Japanese Olympic swimmers will be given opportunities to test the new products as well as the LZR Racer at the Japan Open swimming championship in Tokyo from June 6 to 8, to make their choice and finalize the company before going to Olympics.

Japan wants to win maximum medals in swimming as set a record, thus JSF is even ready to make changes in contracts with domestic companies.

Speedo had introduced its new suit in mid February and swimmers using it have set nearly 37 world records.
