Wal-Mart honours knitwear exporter for excellent performance

Venus Garments, one of the biggest knitwear garment manufacturer and exporter based in Ludhiana, has been selected as a Wal-Mart Global Procurement Supplier of the Year 2007.
The company is bestowed with this honour due to its excellent performance in sectors like high standard of quality, on time delivery of consignments and perfect management.
Venus Group has shown tremendous growth of almost 48 percent, within short span of three years. At present, the leading manufacturer and exporter of knitted garments for men, women and kids, has a turnover of nearly US $58 million.
The garment manufacturer supplies products to international giants like Gap Inc, Wal-Mart, Tom Tailor, The Children's Place, Sam's Club, and Suburbia.
Venus is into various textile related activities including yarn dyeing, fabric knitting, fabric dyeing, finishing, garmenting, garment washing, printing and embroidery.
The wide range of products manufactured by Venus includes t-shirts, jogging suit, sweatshirts, thermal wear and winter wear.
