Even though Vietnam is highly dependent on imports of raw material for local production, the country has gained a considerable growth in exports during the past few years.
It is quite evident from the fact that the country has recently ascended to the position of the second biggest supplier the US for apparel products.
Compared to last year, Vietnam has achieved a remarkable growth in exports of apparel and garment in most of the countries across the globe. The country has increased the prices of the products exported to various markets, thus making it possible for the country to earn a considerable amount of foreign exchange.
The table below shows price of garment products exported to various markets at early days of September this year.
