Mountain Gear joins Backpacker Magazine's Summit. For Someone benefit climb program as a Presenting Sponsor.
“Mountain Gear is excited to team up with Big City Mountaineers to promote participation in outdoor activities through the Summit For Someone program," said Paul Fish, president of Mountain Gear.

Summit for Someone is a fundraising program owned by and to benefit Big City Mountaineers. In its fifth year and continuing to see record success, Summit for Someone is the No. 1 mountaineering fundraiser in the country.
Big City Mountaineers (BCM), a 501(c)(3) non-profit, is a recreational mentoring program for at-risk teens. The mission of BCM is to enhance the lives of under-resourced urban teens through transformative outdoor experiences.
