Lanier Clothes, a division of Oxford Industries Inc, and Geoffrey Beene, LLC are pleased to announce a new five year agreement, adding tuxedos and boys' tailored clothing to the exclusive men's tailored clothing license, through 2014.
Since 1997, the two firms have worked together to develop and promote the Geoffrey Beene tailored clothing business. The products are merchandised, manufactured and sold by Lanier Clothes to better department stores and better specialty retailers.
Jim Tuman, President of Lanier Clothes Division of Oxford Industries commented, "We are pleased to continue our long standing association as the exclusive licensee for tailored products under the Geoffrey Beene marks. Our organizations work closely to bring the best products to the marketplace and we look forward to continuing to grow the business in all of the tailored categories."
"The Geoffrey Beene brand has a strong track record with Lanier and we believe Lanier is well positioned to grow our tailored clothing, becoming as strong as our number one selling designer dress shirts and neckwear in department stores," said G. Thompson Hutton, President and CEO of Geoffrey Beene, LLC.
