Cantabil, an apparel manufacturer and retailer, recently revealed its intentions to penetrate into the sportswear segment over the next two years.
Cantabil Retail intends to launch their sportswear collection, probably over the next two years, and have also initiated efforts in that direction.
Right now, what all the company offers includes, casual wear and formal wear for men, women and children, which are vended under the brand name of 'Cantabil' and 'La Fanso'.
Other than launching premium brands, they are also in view of associating with international brands.
However, the company's recent focus is on expanding its retail network by opening new outlets showcasing its existing brands, while augmenting their production capacity.
The company is all set to launch a new production unit in Haryana, to add to three of its already existing units. Meanwhile, it also proposes to set up 108 new outlets.
Presently, the company owns 411 exclusive stores in India, of which 270 are 'Cantabil' stores, whereas, the rest of them are 'La Fanso' outlets.
