Babies Galore has been bought by Headline Group Ltd for $8.8 million along with a conditional liability worth $1 million. The Headline Group will acquire around 13 Babies Galore outlets which have earlier generated sales worth $35 million.
The property that is to be secured by the Headline Group comprises of store fixtures, equipment and inventories in the stores. The Group will also possess the right to use the customer database of 70,000 clients as well as the online resources of Babies Galore.
The ownership will speed the process of launching Early Learning Centre and Mothercare brands across the whole country.
