“We have updated the copy for all hangtags to be multi-lingual and they include now English, French, German, Italian and Spanish. The HeiQ Fresh BPR hangtag (for HeiQ Pure TAG and SPQR) for global use for brands that sell into the EU will include English, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Norwegian, Spanish and Swedish as Scandinavian countries are known for enforcing language requirements on products containing silver. If brands are using HeiQ Fresh FFL, they can use the hangtag with only English, French, German, Italian and Spanish.
These are the new standard hangtags which will replace the current English-only hangtags. The single-language hangtags will only be available as customised layout.
All new hangtags are now printed on recycled paper, with an indication on the hangtag. During the first half of 2020, HeiQ will also provide Asian multi-lingual hangtags including English, Japanese, Chinese (traditional and simplified) and Korean. HeiQ will also work on combination hangtags which include multiple technologies.
Founded in 2005 as a spin-off from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETH), Heiq is creating some of the most effective, durable and high-performance textile technologies.
