The Sustainability Fundamentals course was created with a carefully selected team of experts and designed for textile and apparel professionals, retailers and brands working within fashion, luxury, sport, outdoor and footwear. The foundational, inspiring content also serves to educate those outside the industry who are interested in sustainability and its pivotal role in fashion and apparel.
A largely self-driven course with built in flexibility and optional group work, the course format is thoughtfully designed for busy professionals requiring relevant content and efficient, action-driven learning. The 11 week programme is offered at three different times throughout the year. The first term began in February while the second term will begin in April and the three term starts in September.
The sustainability course helps understand the participants the key sustainability challenges and opportunities during garment production, use and end-of-use. The participants will also be engaged on group discussions parallel to online study, and will also invest time in the expert video interviews and other related assignments. (RR)
