Eight new companies have joined the roster of the International Textile Market Association (ITMA), which sponsors Showtime. The companies, which are based in the US and abroad, represent the expanding variety of goods that define the home furnishings textile industry, including two fine leather suppliers; a U.S.-based innovator in textile dyeing, printing, coating and finishing; and a pioneer in synthetic fiber production.
The new member companies are: Dino Zoli; Duro Decorative Fabrics; Fabrics In Fashion; Hometex Decorative Fabrics; ID Tex Home Collection; Kolon Industries Inc., Townsend Leather Company Inc.; and Intercuero Italia SPA.
“Our growing membership and the quality of their products indicate that Showtime is considered a valuable venue for buyers and sellers of home décor covering,” said ITMA director Catherine Morsell.
At Showtime, more than 200 ITMA members present their latest fabric, trim and leather introductions primarily for the home furnishings industry. Held twice a year, Showtime is recognized as the largest textile show in the Western Hemisphere.
The next Showtime will be Dec.7 -10, 2008, in High Point.
