Hong Lee Pee revealed that the statistics published by the Ministry of International Trade and Industry of Malaysia shows that the Malaysian export to Lithuania in 2005 was USD18.1 million, i.e a significant 38.8% increase from USD13.0 million in 2004. Meanwhile, the import of Malaysia from Lithuania in 2005 was USD11.3 million, i.e a 23.6% increase from USD9.1 Million in 2004.
She also invites Malaysian companies to participate in the BALTIC TEXTILE + LEATHER International Trade Fair on 17- 19 September 2008. The Trade Fair will provide a good opportunity for Malaysian companies to enter the Lithuanian market.
