6. Products entering Japan on 13 July 2006, and thereafter, that are eligible for preferential tariffs, will have to be accompanied by the Certificate of Origin (Form of MJEPA) endorsed by the Ministry of International Trade and Industry, Malaysia. Products from Japan entering Malaysia must be accompanied by the Certificate of Origin, issued by Chambers of Commerce in Japan, which have been delegated the authority by the Japanese Government to do so.
7. Products from both sides eligible for preferential tariffs, must comply with the preference criteria:
• Goods is wholly obtained, or produced entirely, in Malaysia or Japan; • Materials for the goods are produced entirely in Malaysia or Japan; and • Goods satisfy the products specific rules, namely substantial change in tariff classification (CTC) and/or 40% value added content.
