W+P Solutions, the ERP solutions specialist for the textile and apparel industries from Stuttgart, Germany appoints Wolfgang Weidling as its new Retail Product Manager.
Wolfgang Weidling (48) will guide the development of the retail software at W+P Solutions' with his wide range of experience which he made during many years of working as a retailer and a consultant for merchandise management in the retail area of the textile and apparel industries. He will be part of the task force at W+P to enforce the progress of the integrated store planning and management system by W+P.
“Mr. Weidling follows the strategic approach of W+P solutions to enlarge the value proposition by a higher bandwidth of integrated processes,” says Achim Wieber, CEO of W+P Solutions. “The new system will cover all processes from the product development to the production and sourcing process up to the retail management completely and without interrupt procedures. We base the ERP-System as the single source of truth.”
“The customers work with one data base without redundancy or data inconsistence. In comparison with other systems the software by W+P integrates the store management fully into the enterprise recourse system with access to all information necessarily for a successful retail planning and controlling process,” explains Wolfgang Weidling, the new retail product manager.
Weidling knows the business from the scratch. More than 15 years he works as a retailer in his own business. Later as self-employed consultant he supported other retailers with concepts for process optimizing. Before joining W+P Solutions he worked as co-partner, consultant and project manager for a IT company that develops merchandise management software.

You can meet Wolfgang Weidling and the W+P Team in Hall 8, booth D-040. The new retail system will be presented there. Highlights will be tools for open-to-buy planning, limit planning, control tools for an automatic disposition of NOS goods, suggestions for relocation and consolidation of assortments as well as analyzing tools for top / slow sellers and for the short term profit and loss statement.
