US’ Sciessent will conduct an executive briefing on February 15, 2022, at 10:30 am EST to introduce its NOBO anti-odour technology, a cost-effective way to combat body odour. The briefing will discuss how Sciessent's NOBO odour adsorber can help companies be first to market and differentiate from the competition with a sustainable and cost-effective solution.

Attendees can learn how NOBO is non-biocidal (metal free); cost-effective – less than or equal to the cost of antimicrobial (per linear yard); environmentally friendly – launder less, save water, save energy; maintains fabric characteristics – no impact on hand, drape or other attributes; and durable – variable application levels to eliminate odour for the life of the garment.

The briefing will be conducted by Steve Cunningham, director of marketing and business development and Jeff Trogolo, chief technology officer of the company.

Cunningham manages global branding and marketing efforts across multiple market segments within FDA and EPA regulated markets. With his customer-first attitude, he has over a decade of extensive experience working with global customers to create a positive, repeatable experience for every interaction.

Trogolo leads Sciessent’s product development programmes to broaden the application of the product line. He is responsible for product implementation, engineering, research and new technology development. He also manages customer product engineering across a wide range of industry, process and materials applications.

Specifically formulated to reduce odour in natural and synthetic fabrics, NOBO adsorbs compounds responsible for body odour without the use of an antimicrobial. The technology harnesses the power of benign, non-biocidal, highly porous minerals. The complex structure creates a high, active surface area that bonds with odour compounds, readily adsorbing them into the porous surface. Once adsorbed, the odours are washed away in the laundry and the receptor sites regenerate – ready to adsorb new odours.
