Damartex reports H1 FY21 sales of €402 mn

Damartex, a French company specialising in clothing, reported 4.2 per cent sales growth to €402.3 million in the first half (H1) of fiscal 2021 ended in December compared to sales of €386.0 million in same period previous fiscal. Sales for the fashion division increased marginally 0.6 per cent to €297.8 million for the six-month period during FY21.
The group experienced sustained growth, the first visible effects of the implementation of the Transform to Accelerate 2.0 (TTA 2.0) plan, as reported in a press release. The growth was driven by 54.2 per cent increase in e-commerce and the increase in mail order sales.
The home & lifestyle division continued its solid growth with sales up 12.2 per cent to € 89.1 million during H1 FY21. Whereas, healthcare division sales jumped 47.3 per cent to € 15.4 million.
