Diadora launches new uniform for Referees

The Italian Association of Referees chooses Diadora once again as their main technical sponsor.

For the fifteenth year in a row style and tradition will mark this new Referees Collection: comfort, innovation and a strong image will be the winning characteristics of referees for the next championship.

The new range has been introduced in Tivoli, coincidentally with this season's closure, and has been shown during the press conference, starting this way the new football year.

Black, bright yellow and bright red will be the three colour variations for the jerseys created for the 2006/2007 season.

The new red jersey will substitute last year's blue uniform.

In the same position the Italian symbol, a green, white and red flag that will remain in the centre of the jersey, waiting to be accompanied by the fourth star, symbolic of the fourth World Cup just won by Italy.

As usual Diadora has paid particular attention to the quality of fabrics and to comfort. Those that were winning particulars of last year's jerseys remain untouched, like the zip neck, that allows the referee to adapt the jersey to the different moment of the game.

The pockets are always positioned on the central area of the chest, a handy and comfortable position to extract cards.

Quick movements of fabrics and colours enhance different, contrasting inserts.

For the second year in a row, Diadora has presented a full collection developed for women: a uniform that, while conforming to the characteristic of comfort and image necessary fort this role, also respect femininity.
