Color measurement solution provider GretagMacbeth has announced the immediate availability of NetProfiler2, the single most significant advancement for the graphic arts industry in color measurement technology in recent years.
NetProfiler2, initially supporting SpectroEye devices, is the next generation of NetProfiler, a breakthrough technology successfully implemented in recent years throughout GretagMacbeth's color and appearance markets.
With NetProfiler2, an entire population of spectrophotometers, whether in a single plant or across a network of affiliated locations, can be verified and certified to ensure accurate and trustable color measurements, enabling effective global color communication. Already Deutscher Drucker, a leading European industry magazine, has selected NetProfiler2 as one of the Top 3 nominees for Most Innovative Technologies in the Print Industry.
NetProfiler2 is an internet-based application consisting of software and certified physical standards that routinely check and profile instruments to ensure optimal performance, provides certificates of performance, and unlimited report access.
NetProfiler2 also includes sophisticated remote diagnostic tools, which can be programmed to run on a regular basis. Should the spectrophotometer no longer meet performance specifications, a NetProfiler2 run will detect and correct the problem, restoring the instrument to defined specifications.
