A comprehensive revival plan for the recently closed Juapong Textiles Company has begun according to Allan Kyeremanten, Minister of Trade and Industry.
The Company having 200 workers was shuttered due to its owners VLISCO not able to support it financially.
A new management and a willing investor are being sought to restart the closed Company.
Speaking to media he said it was important to see what the former Juapong Textiles could be transformed into to encourage a positive economic outlook for the area.
Without giving details he added that Government was trying to work out a deal to restatrt the Company which would also provide necessary livelihood for the Juapong community.
