The spot rate at the Karchi Cotton Association today remained unchanged at Rs 2375, according to the official press release.
Spot transaction rates for APE and Upper Sindh remained higher at Rs2400 and Rs2425, respectively.
KCA has informed that 11,246,043 bales have arrived from Punjab and Sindh as of January 1, 2006 with sales to exporters reaching 59,700 bales and mills sales crossing 8,517,841 bales.
Mills raw cotton consumption has reached 11,386,686 bales during the August '04 to June '05 period, the release mentioned.
Total unsold stock is 2,668,502 bales.
