Cotton prices at Karachi Cotton Association (KCA) remain unchanged at Rs2525 per maund, today.
In ready cotton transactions, on February 2, 2006, around 1000 bales changed hands at Basti Malook for Rs2500, 1000 bales at Lodhran for Rs2500, 1000 bales at SDK for Rs2500/2550 and 1000 bales at Upper Sindh for Rs2500/2525 per maund.
According to Cotlook Indices, A Index was at 59.55 and B Index stood at 57.40 on February 1, 2006.
New York Cotton Futures Market Closing Delivery released on February 1, 2006 for March and May.
Opening price for March 2006 will be $55.75 high and low levels will be $55.95 and 55.40 respectively, previous rate will be $55.72, will close at $55.87 with an increase of $0.15.
In May 2006, opening price will be $57.05, high and low levels will be $57.30 and $56.90; previous rate will be $57.14, will close at $57.29 with increase of $0.15.
