Central Queensland cotton farmers have a tough year ahead as they will not be provided with their share of water supply due to an extremely dry weather.
Cotton growers expressed their concerns as they will not be able to cope with the ever increasing water prices.
Sources reported that the farmers were expecting positive results from the initial rains but the dams are just 17 percent full and that next years crops would not be sowed
Farmers are worried as there is no incoming water in the dam and thus the crops will not be able to grow, over which the properties and water charges have become a burden.
