MINFAL finalizes plans for Cotton Vision-2015

Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock has finalized a strategy to raise cotton production to 20 million bales by 2015, which will be presented to Prime Minister for approval, informed sources.
A team comprising agriculture scientist will visit Muslim countries to examine and study their farming pattern to successfully implement the Cotton Vision-2015 program.
To implement Cotton Vision-2015, Islamic Development Bank has assured financial assistance to Government, sources stated.
