According to USDA (United States Department of Agriculture), the US cotton production will take a leap at 21.3 million bales, about 3 percent more from previous month but down 11 percent from last year's record high production.
The crop production report of USDA reveals that the production in nine cotton-producing states, Alabama, California, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Mississippi, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas has increased from recently.
As the weather condition remains favorable in the later part of the growing season, farmers in Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, and Texas are anticipating better produce.
