Tanzania Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture (TCCIA) revealed that two firms are going to set up farms of cotton and pineapple covering 11,000 hectares in Tanzania.
Out of which, Mississippi-based company, JKS Cotton Inc, will cultivate 10,000 hectares of cotton and is going to setup yarn processing factory which can generate 10,000 jobs.
David Stark Inc of New York is the company which is going to establish 1,000 hectares of pineapple farm.
Many other US investors are also communicating with TCCIA for forming business ventures.
