Dr Taylor will join the CRDC Program Management Team comprising Bruce Pyke: General Manager Research and Extension, Dallas Gibb: Program Manager Natural Resource Management, Breeding and Biotechnology and Value Chain; and two part-time Research Program Coordinators: Helen Dugdale and Rachel Holloway.
The CRDC was established in 1990 by the Australian Government to devise and manage a research and development program that meets the needs of the cotton industry. It is jointly funded by the Australian Government and growers through an annual levy on cotton production.
The Cotton Research and Development Corporation is a partnership between the Australian Government and the Australian cotton industry. Their vision is a globally competitive and responsible cotton industry. The Corporation is accountable to the industry through the Australian Cotton Growers' Research Association (ACGRA) and to the Federal Parliament through the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry, Senator the Hon. Richard Colbeck.
