As a proud sponsor of the National Breast Cancer Foundation Inc (NBCF), Cleatskins announced the release of its Pink Ribbon edition of Cleatskins Golf, a stylish pink ribbon-themed accessory that easily slips over golf shoes to turn them into street shoes quickly and conveniently taking golfers from the course to the clubhouse and beyond.
“We felt the need to create a product that gives back to a cause important to all of us,” said Marianne Kay, CEO and co-founder of Cleatskins. “Female golfers can wear the Pink Ribbon Cleatskins not only as a chic accessory on the course but as a symbol of hope and encouragement for breast cancer sufferers and survivors everywhere.”
Cleatskins will strengthen the NBCF's mission by making a donation to help fund early breast cancer detection education and preventative care for women.
“We are very excited to partner with Cleatskins and their Pink Ribbon edition of Cleatskins Golf,” said NBCF founder and CEO, Janelle Hail. “Their support allows us to fulfill our mission to save lives through early detection and to provide mammograms for those in need.”
Constructed of SKINTEK rubber, Cleatskins Golf is a time-saving, practical, and economical solution to and from the course. Cleatskins feature a rubber shell that cups the bottom of golf shoes to extend the life of cleats, improve mobility and safety on asphalt, concrete and other hard surfaces, and provide a sealed barrier to keep dirt and grass out of the home and car. Cleatskins SKINTEK material is machine washable, making them easy-to-care for and always looking new.
The Pink Ribbon edition of Cleatskins Golf for women comes in light and hot pink colors, features a pink Breast Cancer ribbon, and is available in sizes small (5-7), medium (7.5-9.5) and large (10-12). In addition to being available for purchase at www.Cleatskins.com, a list of specialty golf retailers carrying the Pink Ribbon edition can be found on the Cleatskins Web site.
