China will step up efforts to support pilot free trade zones (FTZs) to deepen reforms and facilitate cross-border e-commerce. The decision was taken at a State Council executive meeting chaired by Premier Li Keqiang recently, according to a Chinese government portal. The pilot FTZs will alleviate administrative burdens, improve services and prompt innovation.
