Textile Centre of Excellence is going to start 'Textile Technical Certificate Course' for one year during in January 2006. The course will be start on January 9.
Yorkshire's textile and clothing businesses have an opportunity to improve the knowledge of their staff with the commencement in January 2006 of the latest course for the Technical Certificate in Textile Studies.
The Certificate in the Principles and Practice of Textile Manufacture is a vocational award that is ideally suited to employees who would benefit from improved knowledge in key areas of textiles manufacturing, so that they will be better able to meet the current and future challenges of the industry.
In addition to the core modules in General Textile Technology and Quality Control, the course covers a specialist module, which will be relevant to the learner's employment skill area. There are sixteen to choose from, so the Certificate can truly be said to address companies specific needs.
The Technical Certificate can be delivered as a stand-alone qualification, as well as being part of an Advanced Apprenticeship programme. It is a 12 month course that starts on 9 January 2006 and runs fortnightly on Mondays at the Textile Centre of Excellence.
