Greener Chemistry for Industry to be held in Villeneuve

It will constitute an international Discussion forum for scientists, the actors of the industrial policy, the academic and government organisations interested in green chemistry and sustainable development. The official languages of the congress will be English and French, but note that simultaneous translation will not be available.

Wednesday, the 3rd of October:
Renewable raw materials, Fine chemistry, Detergency…
• Valorisation of glycerol, sorbitol and bio-ethanol
• Carbohydrates
• Modified cyclodextrins
• Anti-limestone and furtive sequestering agents issued from vegetal
• Enzymes used for detergency and for decontamination purposes

Tuesday, the 4th of October:
Innovating materials, Composites, Natural polymers, Metals, Glass…
• Flocculating agents issued from vegetal for water treatment
• Biopolymers, biolatex
• Applications of NMR spectroscopy to vitreous materials
• Interaction between materials for domestic use and products for dishwashers
• Deterging and decontamination agents: compromise between efficiency and preservation of materials
• Glass or crockery with limited bacterial development
• Non-adhesive easily cleanable culinary articles

Friday, the 5th of October:
Synthesis, Catalytic processes…
• Green solvents for green chemistry (H2O, supercritical CO2, ionic liquids)
• Catalytic oxidation (H2O2, O2, ROOH…)
• Micro- and nano-reactors-based technologies
• Microfluidics
• Enzymatic synthesis
• Amorphisation of sugars for enhancing bioavailability
