Cooling fabric innovator Brrr has been chosen for the New York Venture Showcase, an invitation-only series of meetings with active investors organised by the state of Georgia’s Advanced Technology Development Center (ATDC) technology incubator. This will be the third investor conference to feature Brrr as it seeks to raise $3-$5 million in equity capital.

Atlanta-based Brrr was one of only 14 companies selected to participate in the two-day event that puts startups in front of dozens of venture capitalists and institutional investors at a private event hosted by Silicon Valley Bank at their Manhattan office on Park Avenue, according to a media statement by Brrr. In recent weeks, Brrr was chosen to be the first presenter at the Venture Atlanta 2018 conference and it was one of eight companies selected for the RAISE Forum hosted by the Goizueta Business School at Emory University.

“The ATDC New York Venture Showcase is an outstanding way to create a path to funding and growth for Georgia startups. To be among such an elite group of entrepreneurs is inspiring,” said Mary-Cathryn Kolb, founder & CEO of Brrr. (PC)
