Marvelous platform for ASEAN traders

From November 29 to December 3, Support Arts and Crafts International Centre of Thailand (Sacict) and the Asean Handicraft Promotion and Development Association (AHPADA), are organizing the "1st Asean Arts and Crafts Festival 2006" at the Phra Mingmongkol Hall in Ayutthaya province.

The festival has been organized to encourage Thai cultural folk arts and crafts among Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean) countries and in the global market.

This platform will provide all ASEAN countries to display their heritage in a bigger way.

This trade fair will display the high quality works produced by local talents. Each Asean country will show their best cultural work of art and 24 best works will be awarded by Unesco-Seal of Excellence 2006.

The festival will provide an opportunity to the Asean traders, buyers, entrepreneurs, tourists and interested persons to associate with others traders as well as a chance to admire various kinds of products like decorative items, handicrafts, jewellery and accessories, fashion, home textiles and fabrics, household items, gifts and foods which will be on sale.
