Collections at WSA achieves record buyer & exhibitor attendance

The most recent gathering of the world's finest designers of luxury footwear and handbags, The Collections at WSA, achieved record attendance of buyers and 385 exhibitors in Las Vegas, Feb. 1-4.

The semi-annual show has become the world's largest and most respected venue for discovering the next new styles, palettes, and materials. In addition, the new “Super Slippers” auctions raised nearly $17,000 on behalf of the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund.

“The luxury market for shoes, handbags and accessories is stronger than it's ever been, said Diane Stone, chief operating officer of The WSA Show. “The continual growth of attendees at this show reflects the vital role that The Collections at WSA plays in the international commerce of this sector.”

Set at The Venetian Resort Hotel in Las Vegas, The Collections at WSA takes place in creative, one-of-a-kind suites that match the creative appeal of the stunning footwear and handbags on display for discerning luxury retailers and buyers.

Attendees enjoy direct designer access, valuable networking opportunities, fashion insider seminars and the opportunity to find new resources, in one convenient location. The luxury showcase operates concurrently with The WSA Show, the largest global marketplace for footwear and accessories.

“At every show, we make a concerted effort to talk to as many attendees and exhibitors as possible. Then we use what we learn to make sure the next show is the best that it can be for everyone involved, ” said Leslie Gallin, director of The Collections at WSA.
