Lee Rizzuto as PBA new Governing Council Chair

The Professional Beauty Association is pleased to announce its 2008 Governing and Leadership Councils, including newly appointed officers.
Elected PBA members who volunteer their time and valuable insight are pivotal in enhancing the growth, power, and perception of not only PBA, but the entire beauty industry.
This year, PBA's leadership has set an objective of continuing the association's good work and uniting the beauty industry.
PBA's three Leadership Councils represent the Manufacturer, Distributor, and Salon/Spa sections, set directives for building membership value and promote the mission of PBA.
The Governing Council is comprised of nine members elected from each of the Leadership Councils. The Governing Council actively handles the budgeting, legislation endorsement, strategic planning, and relevant issues pertinent to the association as a whole.
Lee Rizzuto Jr, PBA's new Governing Council Chair, supports teamwork and improving the overall cooperation of the industry's sectors.
"I fully support unification of the industry. I want to see each aspect of PBA work together to develop initiatives that benefit all aspects of the industry and to go above and beyond the objectives of each sector."

The Leadership and Governing Council members were elected for their dedication to the beauty industry and PBA. With such a cohesive group serving on the Councils, PBA can only strengthen its position as the cornerstone of the beauty industry in the upcoming year.
