10 designers create tributary T-shirts for FIFA World Cup

As the football fever gears up to devour the whole world with its forthcoming testosterone shooting matches, a set of 10 designers, belonging to the 10 most soccer crazy nations, have created a tributary collection for the forthcoming 2014 FIFA World Cup.

Designed in collaboration with the popular Italian internet mail order retailer Yoox, the designers have created a capsule collection of 10 hoodies and shirts, representing the signature colours and patterns of their respective native nations.

Produced in Italy, the limited edition fun, urban, unisex range features a white sweatshirt with graphic printed heart in red and yellow colour by Spanish designer Agatha Ruiz de la Prada and a Union Jack-inspired red, blue and white shirt from the US-based label Opening Ceremony.

The collection, which represents all the participating nations from the five continents in the upcoming football event, also includes pieces from Juun J (Korea) Ksubi (Australia), Barbara Casasola (Brazil), Damir Doma (Germany) or Masha Ma (China), Ami (France), Duro Olowu (Nigeria) and MSGM (Italy).

Founded in 2000, Yoox supplies men’s and women’s multi-brand clothing and fashion accessories in more than 100 countries worldwide.

The 2014 FIFA World Cup is slated to kick off from June 12 and will run till July 13, 2014 in the Brazilian city of Rio de Janeiro.
