Citi Trends same store March sales climb 12.8%

Savannah, Georgia based Citi Trends Inc reported unaudited sales results for the five-week period ended April 1, 2006.
Total net sales for the five-week period ended April 1, 2006 increased 32.7 percent to $32.7 million compared with $24.7 million for the five-week period ended April 2, 2005.
Comparable store sales increased 12.8 percent for the five-week period ended April 1, 2006, compared with a 14.4 percent increase in the prior-year period. Relocated and expanded stores are included in the comparable store sales results.
Citi Trends Inc is a value-priced retailer of urban fashion apparel and accessories for the entire family. The Company currently operates 244 stores (including one store currently closed due to the hurricanes) located in 15 states in the South, Southeast, Midwest and Mid-Atlantic regions.
