Customize footwear retailer Zoccolino to enter US market

Europe's totally unique, customizable sandals, Zoccolino, will open its first US retail store just in time for the holiday season at Westfield Topanga in Canoga Park, California.
Beginning November 15th and exclusively at Westfield Topanga, local shoppers will be the first in the US to create their own personalized Zoccolino sandals in less than 30 minutes, choosing to combine shapes with materials such as suede, faux-fur and leather.
This holiday season consumers can rest assured that they are getting something totally original, something custom made for them and something that is an expression of their style.
Bucking the trend of cookie-cutter fashion, Zoccolino puts the tools for creative design in the hands of the consumer -- from the sole to straps to embellishments.
The sandals are assembled in the store, all in the time it takes to enjoy a latte.
