Fashion merchandiser Stein Mart Inc's, President and Chief Executive Officer Michael D Fisher will make a presentation to investors at the Roth Capital Partners 18th Annual Growth Stock Conference in Dana Point, California on Wednesday, February 22, 2006 at 2:30 p.m. Pacific Time/5:30 p.m. Eastern Time.

As previously noted, the Company will release its 4th quarter and full fiscal 2005 results on Thursday, March 16, 2006 prior to the opening of the U.S. financial markets.

A conference call with management to discuss those results as well as the Company's plans for 2006 will be held at 10:30 a.m. ET the same morning.

Stein Mart stores offer the fashion merchandise, service and presentation of a better department or specialty store, at prices competitive with off-price retail chains.
