Guess? Inc comp store sales up 8.6% in February

Fashion retailer Guess? Inc has reported retail sales for the month of February which ended on February 25th 2006.
Total retail sales for February were $43.6 million, an increase of 17.0 percent from sales of $37.3 million for the month ended February 26th 2005. Comparable store sales for the February period increased 8.6 percent.
The company noted that the sales for the month were driven by a larger percentage of full-price sales as compared to the prior year.
Guess? Inc designs, markets, distributes and licenses a lifestyle collection of contemporary apparel, accessories and related consumer products. The company owned and operates 310 retail stores in the United States and Canada.
The company also distributes its products through better department and specialty stores around the world.
