Canada's prestigious outdoor footwear brand, Kodiak is introducing a new winter line of boots.
The company plans on rolling out 21 new styles for the US market of rugged outdoor boots and will unveil the line at the World Shoe Association (WSA) Show in Las Vegas from February 10-13, 2006.
'The majority of Kodiak Winter Boots are proudly made in Canada, where the tradition of providing comfort against extreme weather conditions is a long and distinguished one,' said Wayne Elsey, President of Kodiak - Terra, USA Inc USA.
'Canadians are already familiar with the quality and comfort of Kodiak brand products,' Elsey said.
'They are excited to be able to offer Americans the same great styling and comfort that their Canadian neighbors enjoy.'
The 21 new styles range from waterproof work and duty products to recreational boots for use in the snow and ice, such as snowboarding boots.
Six new products are available for Men, four for Women, and 11 are available for Children in a variety of styles and colors.
The entire line of winter boots are certified by the Council of Canada for use in weather conditions up to -60 degrees Celsius and -60 degrees Fahrenheit.
This 'Thermal Certification' clearly indicates the company's commitment to quality,' Elsey added.
'In addition to providing safety against extreme temperatures, these new boots also offer extreme comfort,' Elsey said.
'They haven't cut corners on development because they understand that a person's foot comfort contributes directly into their overall comfort, especially in conditions that can lead to hypothermia.'
