Barbara Bui marches back into profit

French fashion group Barbara Bui has announced annual results for the exercise closed at December 31st 2005.
The group Barbara Bui recorded a sales turnover of €22.75 million in rise of 17 percent in 2005.
Over the year 2005, Barbara Bui elucidated a point of gross margin additional. The gross margin is established to €12.76 million, that is to say 56.1 percent of the sales turnover against 54.9 percent in 2004. The turnover arises to €0.73 million, against €-1.1 million one year earlier.
As announced at the end of 2004, the objective of return to balance since 2005 was achieved.
The group even exceeded its initial annual prospects for result; the net income leaves the rising group to €0.38 million from a net loss of €0.92 in the previous year.
For the next exercises, the efforts of the group Barbara Bui will concentrate on:
- the resumption of the development of its network Shops, with 1 to 2 new operational points of sale since 2007,
- continuation of the development of the Diffusion, with in particular the search for partnerships in Asia,
- the study of new diversifications produced and starts again it perfume.
Lastly, the group wishes to make profitable the growth of the activity in order to improve profitability, while reinforcing the image of the group throughout the world.
For the current year, the order books Diffusion are very well directed. The winter 2006 thus posts a progression higher than 30 percent, exceeding the performance recorded by the order books of the summer 2006.
