Pantaloon & IISWBM to offer diploma courses in retail management

Pantaloon Retail India Limited (PRIL) has tied up with the Kolkatta-based Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management (IISWBM) to offer a 2 year Diploma Course in Retail Management. This JV is the first of its kind for an educational institute in East India.
PRIL has identified retail education as a priority area and this is the company's fifth tie-up with a leading educational institute.
Commenting on this occasion, Mr. Ahoke Dutta, Director, IISWBM said, “This 2 year Diploma Course offers a great opportunity to those aspiring to make their careers in retailing.
Retail is witnessing an exponential growth, and as a result is creating a huge demand for skilled people in this industry.
We welcome this demand and are glad that this association will give a chance to the youth from the eastern region to explore an exciting career option.”

The 2 year Diploma Course will have academic support from both PRIL and IISWBM faculties.
