Clothing retailer Uniqlo has revealed plans to launch 25 new outlets in London and the South East by 2010.
While already having six stores in the city, company seeking two locations of about 30,000 square feet or 2,787 square metres in central London.
Masayuki Nagatake, CEO, said, “Our fashionable, high-quality, basic casual wear has transferred well from Japan to the UK market. Our London stores are trading exceptionally well and we are confident of replicating this success across the South East.”
Harper Dennis Hobbs has shouldered the responsibility to secure appropriate stores for Uniqlo all over UK.
James Ebel, Director of this agency explained that Uniqlo required stores covering 6,000 to 10,000 square feet outside central London.
“Uniqlo will also consider the purchase of high-profile, freehold properties”, he added.
Uniqlo is Japan's leading retailer of casual clothing boasting over 630 stores across the country.
