Tandy Leather Factory to launch retail store in Florida

Tandy Leather Factory Inc announced that it plans to open a Tandy Leather retail store in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This new store is #11 of twelve planned store openings in 2006 and brings the number of Tandy Leather retail stores to 61. The store will be located in the Oakbrook Plaza Shopping Center at 7157 W. Oakland Park Blvd. in Lauderhill and is expected to open before the end of the month.

Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Wray Thompson, commented, "South Florida is a solid market for us and we're pleased to be establishing a local presence there. Will Jamieson, who has been training in our Tampa Leather Factory store, will be the manager."

Tandy Leather Factory Inc, headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas, is a specialty retailer and wholesale distributor of a broad product line including leather, leatherworking tools, buckles and adornments for belts, leather dyes and finishes, saddle and tack hardware, and do-it-yourself kits.
