Second bags make come back

Second bags were a trade mark for the middle aged men in the 80's and was once a status to hold luxury brand second bags. They had originally been with brand monograms and looked somewhat like money bags used at banks.

They had gradually become a very middle-aged, unfashionable item and disappeared from the market. But recently the trend has made a come back.

Isetan Men's Store, has recently placed second bags in their stores and have seen great sales. Isetan Men's store has shown miraculous sales, and would not be an understatement to say that they are the one of the leader's in Japan's men's fashion. Isetan Men holding the once adored second bag is a clear sign that the trend is coming back.

Still, the new trend is not like the one before with brand named bags, but is more stylish. Lagasha's second bag had sold 80 pieces in one month. The bag is longer than the original second bags, and uses high-quality leather.

L&Kondo will be launching second bags with leather pieces very soon. The trigger to this new boom is said to be the Cool Biz campaign. With business men shedding their jackets, they have no where to place their cell phones, schedule books, wallets, handkerchiefs and books.

This caused a growing demand for business bags and many department stores have come up with private brand bags to meet the needs. The new and improved second bags open up to A4 size and holds more items than the bag looks like it would hold. Trendy and convenient: the perfect product for Cool Biz.
