PVH, Rousseau SAS to launch IZOD sportswear in European markets

Phillips-Van Heusen Corporation announced that they have entered into a license agreement with Rousseau SAS, under which Rousseau will market and distribute a line of men's sportswear under PVH's IZOD brand.
The first IZOD collection is expected to be available in January 2007 for spring/summer 2007 and will be sold in France, Belgium, Andorra, Luxembourg, and Monaco.
Rousseau is the largest French producer and distributor of top range men's dress shirts in France. The company owns Pierre Clarence and Horizon menswear trademarks, and is the licensee for men's shirts and knitwear for Pierre Cardin, Christian Lacroix, and Nina Ricci.
IZOD, launched in the United States in the early 1900's, is one of the most successful and powerful sportswear brand names in the United States.

Being launched to capitalize in Europe on the brand's fresh, clean attitude, the modern traditional IZOD product offering will be targeted to a consumer similar to that in the US, defined as an active man who appreciates quality, modern styling, and a bright color palette.
Phillips-Van Heusen Corporation is one of the world's largest apparel companies. It owns and markets the Calvin Klein brand worldwide.
