SAATHI – The vendor fair is an initiative by the Future group to bring in small, medium and large scale manufactures to show-case their merchandise for retailing through various formats of the group – Pantaloon, Big Bazaar, Fashion Station, Food Bazaar, Furniture Bazaar, E-zone, Home Town, Central, Convergem, and Depot etc.
At the fair Future group will be looking for new vendors to source products from categories like Fabrics, Apparels, Fashion Accessories, Ethnic and Western wear, Handicrafts, Ethnic and fashion Jewellery, Home Furnishing, Plastics, Utensils, Books, Gifts and Stationary, Toys, Leather products, Luggage, Foot-wear, Watches, Music and Multimedia, Sunglasses, Furniture, Electronics, White goods, Kitchen appliances, Auto-accessories, Communication, Mobiles, Agro – commodities consolidators, Staples, Dairy products, Beverages, Packed food, Processed food, Packaging etc.
SAATHI is organized in the line of exhibition where suppliers for the fair will be allotted a space and time to display their products. The buying team will be visiting them to evaluate the product, vendor's profile and quality parameters. The fair will be held on July 21-23, 2006 at Hall no 7ABC, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
The three day fair is expected to attract over 6,000 supply partners across the states of Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan. This being the second fair after Ahmedabad, is unique in the retail industry and is aimed at providing a platform to small and medium scale manufacturers to show-case their products for retailing through the various formats of the group – Pantaloon, Big Bazaar, Food Bazaar, Home Solutions, Depot, Convergem, Wellness etc.
